Open House Tea & Memorial Tree Planting: June 1st Free

Several years ago we began planting trees in the Memory Grove. It is a large space that needs people to help it grow. Please contact us if you would like to plant any trees or little garden areas dedicated to specific memories, individuals or groups. Each planting requires not only the plant material but compost and soil amendments to increase vitality and mulch to control weeds and decrease maintenance. Contact us about any plantings that you would like to contribute. The goal is to create a lovely refuge of nature for all to enjoy- humans, birds, and critters!! Donations of wind chimes, bird feeders, garden ornaments, benches, etc. that enhance and feng shui the space are also greatly appreciated. We are producing a booklet that describes the botanical properties of the plantings as well as the people and their stories that they may live for many generations to come.
