Memory Grove

Memory Grove: The dream that began as a sound barrier of trees has grown into a nature refuge of diverse trees and plants, each accompanied by a plague identifying them by common and Latin names and stating the memory honored. Two books are being compiled for display, one that identifies the trees and their uses and one that provides a history of the memories that live within them. Everyone making a donation will be listed in the book as a donor and encouraged to submit a camera ready page of pictures and/or stories about that particular memory- person, place, gathering, cause, or animal-- along with planting suggestions. All submissions will be placed in presentation sheet protectors and included in a three ring notebook for visitors to enjoy. This is a big project requiring much money, time, and energy but also fun and reflective. All donations are appreciated. In addition to trees and plants, mulch, compost, stones, benches, garden ornaments, bird feeders, wind chimes, and other items are also needed. Thanks for all assistance and support in manifesting this dream that gives back to nature while providing a piece of living history.
